Permanent Ink

This weekend was insanely busy but an awesome one. Including the work I did for a short film by CurlyHairedPeople Productions.

Pretty much everything is freehand drawn. I was going to use stencil that I made but ended up being a pain-in-the-ass process so I grabbed my pen and started drawing. Gil had two guns on both sides of his head and also sleeve tattoo on his arms. I also painted on Sarafina's back and arm. She dressed up in costume and looked perfect for the role.

Japanese Mythology Pt.2

Title: "Nihondaira" (Hilly area we have in my hometown.)
Image size approximately 18 x 26

Almost done....actually, it's pretty much done at this point. Paper started to buckle and hard to get the accurate registration on each edition. I should start printing on boards instead of paper...BFK is awesome but the price is killing me. (8 bucks for each sheet (30 x 40).)

Duuuurrrr...

Gotta have fun at work.

I use human flesh as a drawing pad.

Skull was done in about 10 - 15 minutes. It was a good quick practice for freestyle drawings. I love drawing on arms because it gives me a good pressure to keep me focused and be more loose at the same time. I got two thumbs up from Bill Maughan at the end of the day. (Yes, I love John Dobson.)
